If you’re stressed and tensed out. Don’t be.
You are ahead of the other guys who don’t have her number, but if you don’t keep stepping up your game you will soon be back to square one and wondering what to do.
Practice your sexy phone voice
Firstly, it is a good idea to let your voice deepen a bit. You don’t have to sound like a porn star, but a sexy ‘hello’ is a lot better than a squeaky one. You have to get it right with the first impression, it’s a lot like a handshake. Remember, over the phone you can let her imaginations run wild. So if you’re able to come up with a greeting that is personal to you, like your own brand, then that’s a good way of imprinting the fact that you’re special in her mind.
Smile when you’re on the phone
Make sure you smile when you are talking to her. Practise this when you are alone so you don’t get self conscious – try talking to yourself while you have a frown on your face, and then try it when you are smiling. This difference will be noticeable to her, and if you’re smiling she will feel much more comfortable talking to you. Not only will you sound easier to talk to, you’ll create an environment where you’re more confident and relaxed. This will help you when you start flirting and joking around with her.
Experiment with fun

Let there be silence (sometimes)
To really be great at flirting on the phone, don’t be afraid to let a silence draw on a little. Some people are really afraid to let a natural pause come into the conversation, but it can be a great tool to use. It can let the other person think about the conversation and what has just been said. Going on and on without any silences will make her get sick of listening to you, she won’t get time to respond, and will just end up covering her ears. Then she will want to hang up as soon as possible.
You can also use silence as a means to use a tool when you flirt. For example:
You: blah blah blah.. and you know what?
Her: what…?
You: …. (silence)
Her: what what?
You: … (silence)
Her: what is it?
You: haha oh I’m just going to string you along. This is fun!
Flirting on the phone is different to flirting in person. In person you have the advantage that you can use body language, a look, a wink or a smile to maximise the impact of what you’re saying. This is so different on the phone, all she has to go on is your voice. So your effectiveness is greatly dependent on your abillity to be creative with what you’re saying, and the way that you say it.
